Overlook Farm is a 327 acre operational farm that provides meat and produce for our on-sight restaurant, Inns, wedding venues as well as for our sister restaurant in St. Louis. Our meats and produce are raised free of any chemicals, additives, and by-products; we believe that raising food the natural way is the best way! We are currently looking to fulfill several part-time and seasonal positions, which may lead to full-time.
Back/Front of the House and Event Staff:
We are looking for strong line cooks with a desire to learn and who can follow directions. Some experience is preferred but all are encouraged to apply. This position will allow you to work with fresh ingredients, learn recipe development, food preservation, food control, and whole ingredient utilization. This is not a typical station-style position and you will be asked to know numerous cooking methods, styles, and recipes. This is a fully operational farm so there may also be times that you will be asked to assist in other areas of the farm, such as: planting, harvesting, and butchering, to name a few. You must be motivated, eager to learn, and willing to help.
We are currently hiring for part-time servers for our upcoming events and season. This position could lead into a more permanent or full-time position for the right candidate(s). Our servers must possess customer service skills, be organized, practice cleanliness, be dependable and demonstrate an eagerness to assist when and where, as needed. This position requires you to work in a variety of settings to include: indoor/outdoor, restaurant, weddings, and special events; so flexibility is essential.
