With our warm and professional staff we can create an exciting and delicious event for you and your group. Chef-Crafted Cooking Demonstrations and Hands-On Classes range from Old World Tuscan-Style Italian Cooking, Best Ever Pasta and Classic French Cooking a la Julia Childs to Easy (Amazing) Fish Dishes. No professional experience necessary and all levels are welcome.

Kayaks by Day and Fireflies by Night from $279

(May through October)

Overlook Farm has teamed up with Midwest Sea Kayak and Touring to offer a unique experience on one of the world's greatest waterways, the majestic Mississippi River. Explore the legendary river by kayak, then treat yourself to a relaxing stay at one of the regions most exquisite properties. The kayak trip takes two or four hours (depending on package), includes snack or lunch, beverages, and transportation to and from the river. All trips are subject to availability and river conditions. We are very proud to offer this one-of-a-kind experience to our guests. Package, for two people, is $279 for a two-hour trip or $399 for 4 hours, double occupancy in the inn.
